Frequently Asked Questions
How often do we meet?
We’ll start with either weekly or every other week appointments. The relationship between therapist and client is a key factor in successful therapy. If we start with appointments being more than two weeks apart, it’s hard to create a safe enough relationship to talk about hard topics and can make it more difficult to gain momentum for change. After working together for a while, if you think a different frequency would work better for you, we can collaborate on what works best for you and the goals you have in therapy.
How long will we work together?
We’ll work together to determine what the end of therapy looks like, whether it’s reaching your goals or just needing a break from doing this work. I believe therapy is something that you can dip into and out of throughout life as you need additional support. Even after we end working together, I remain a resource for you. My office door is always open if you need resources, a few maintenance sessions, or want to resume regular sessions again.
Are sessions in person or online?
I offer both! We can meet whichever way you are most comfortable with.
What is your availability
I see clients Monday-Wednesday between the hours of 9am-6pm, in person or virtually. Thursday from 8am-3pm, only virtually.
How much does it cost?

Do you accept insurance?
I don’t. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards for payments and provide monthly insurance reimbursement statements for out-of-network benefits. You can read more on why I don’t accept insurance here.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give me 24 hour notice if you need to cancel an appointment in order to avoid being charged.
